In 1977, at age 17, Donna began her career working as copy clerk and court runner for one of Sacramento's largest law firms. Since that time, she has worked with over 150 attorneys, and now manages the offices of some of Sacramento's finest legal practices.
Donna's working relationship with some of the area's most respected lawyers has allowed her to glean insight and understanding into the legal profession, which are invaluable tips and tools that she openly shares with her clients. Her discretion with confidential information and her unique experience in the field recommend her highly. She has a way of understanding what you, your employees, and your clients need, while maintaining reliability in the office as well as a balanced budget.
Having worked her way up from an entry level position, Donna has experienced the organizational structure, function, and behavior of a law firm as few people have. Her wisdom and expertise in the area of office management are vast and extraordinary. From the entry level duties of a receptionist, to the intricacies of partnership calculations, Donna brings all of this to her clients in the form of simple, practical, and effective management solutions.
Ami is a long-time employee of LAS and has proven herself time and again with a dedication to the job and a quiet, agreeable personality. She is known for managing the accounting departments of several firms in town specializing in personal injury and insurance defense.
Ami's experience also includes setting up new law offices. This responsibility carries a variety of tasks including locating office space, purchasing furniture and new computers, obtaining licenses and tax identification numbers, and assisting in the actual setup of the new firm.
Cathy has earned her respect in the community by working for multifaceted clients, often in complex and demanding offices. Her degree in accounting has been useful when setting up new and creative partnership compensation formulas and creating reports for managing partners.
With a background in management, Shannon was a perfect addition to our team. Her experience lends itself to the oversight of marketing and office management issues as well as human resource administration.
With seven years of experience as a legal secretary Amber continually exhibits her determination and dependability as well as her eagerness to branch out in the accounting field. Amber was a great fit as a full-time secretary, bookkeeper and personal assistant to Joe Ramsey of Law Office of Joe Ramsey when he went solo. She continues to assistant LAS with small bookkeeping and billing clients as well.
Lindsey came to join the LAS team with a background in civil litigation, criminal defense, and office management in January of 2008. Lindsey is tackling the task of managing the insurance defense billing world with its demanding requests.
Richelle joined our LAS team in March of 2009 after spending more than eighteen years in the banking industry. She has held the position of Vice President/Controller for the past eleven years and has simultaneously carried the responsibility of Human Resources Administrator for nine of those years. This has allowed her to work closely with the executive management of three of our prominent community banks. Richelle's comprehensive understanding of business management, finance, and human resource administration has brought a new dimension to the LAS team. She continues to work towards the goal of obtaining her Masters Degree in Finance and Business Management.
